It sounds like a pretty easy task to pull off and is one of Epic Games’ easier Fortnite Challenges.
However, following the announcement that the new Fortnite 4.2 update has been delayed, some of the Week 3 tasks are not working yet.
So it’s easy to see why a lot of people are searching for the best way to Watch A Match Replay in Fortnite.
Epic Games warned about this earlier today, revealing that issues would hit Fortnite Challenges today.
“We’ve discovered an issue that’s going to delay the release of v4.2. Due to this delay some quests may not function until the build releases,” the support team message confirms.
“We’ll update you once we have a more accurate time frame.”
So until Fortnite 4.2 update is set live, you won’t be able to complete this task, which is something that needs to be considered straight away.
Watch a Match Replay in Fortnite could prove difficult right now
When the game is properly patched, watching a Fortnite Match Replay will be a pretty easy task to pull off.
To earn your 5 Battle Stars for the Season 4 Battle Pass, Fortnite players simply need to head over to the “career” tab at the top of the home screen.
This can be done using the shoulder buttons on a controller, or by using mouse, if on PC.
Clicking through to this menu will give you the chance to select the Replays option, which will give you a big list of recent games.
Watching the full clip should allow you to earn the Battle Stars without needing to drop into the Island and Battle other players.
Currently, this option is not available on the Fortnite Mobile platform, meaning it’s not an option for iOS users.
This will all change with the launch of update 4.2, with Epic Games adding the feature to Fortnite Mobile through the new patch.
This might even be why today’s update has been delayed, due to last minutes problems with the feature.
Epic Games are looking to keep all platforms on par with each other, so it makes sense that the development team would want to get everything right on iOS.
No reason has been given for today’s delay, or how long it might last.
When the new Fortnite update does go live, it will likely mean a meaty update on Mobile and some downtime for servers.
For this reason, Epic Games may choose to wait until tomorrow morning to set the new update live, and avoid rush hour server times.
The best thing to do will be to keep an eye on the official Fortnite channels run by Epic Games.
